Bumblefish started as a sushi delivery business in Arlington, Virginia in 2004. Since then, we've quickly
evolved into a unique neo-Asian food concept for consumers who want a quick and healthy meal at an
affordable price. Our first store opened in downtown Kansas City just a year later. In 2007, we opened our
flagship store on the iconic King Street in historic Alexandria, Virginia just outside Washington, DC and
another in Kansas City's Westport District. In 2008, Bumblefish heads north with our first Philadelphia
location, which opened in Spring 2008. Today, you can find Bumblefish locations in Kansas City, Virginia,
The Pentagon, Philadelphia, and Atlanta and counting.
Our Food
What makes Bumblefish different? Simply put, we're on a mission to provide a healthy, tasty alternative for
people on the go. We have no grills, no deep fryers, and no heat lamps. We take pride in the fact that our
sushi, Asian rolls, dumplings and specialty soups and salads are prepared daily using only the freshest
ingredients. At Bumblefish, we offer more than 50 items with a menu influenced by tastes from around the
globe. And, it's all color-coded -- Veggie, Cooked and Raw -- so it's easy for vegetarians, meat lovers, sushi
experts and sushi virgins to find what they're looking for. We're always innovating so watch our menu and
visit our stores for exciting new choices
